![]() ![]() This then gives them access to two Timed Buffs when interacting with their heirs and another new interaction in turn. Only Heirs who are YA and older are capable of doing this as of current once they have picked a successor they gain a new trait: Former Heir. Additional interactions have been added.Advocated Spares and Promoted Heirs will now have special traits - they look identical to the existing ones, but there are differences in buffs and accessible interactions. In addition to abdicating heirship (which has been renamed from abdicating Responsibility), spares now have the chance to advocate for heirship themselves! In addition, only Children and Teens are capable of switching to the other side, so to speak, and each may only do so once.Update : Confirmed to be all clear with this week's patch! Update : Remember how I said this was going to be comparatively simple? The game will randomize the movie video if there’s more than one in the folder, and then turn off the TV when its done.Update : Changed some buffs in the Mood Pack version to reflect some recently-added moods. ![]() I converted sims 4 movies and you can get them in this big folder HERE. When choosing the traits, I took into account what movie is already in the folder, and the genera of movies I personally use each folder for. Hated traits are checked first, then Loved traits, then Liked and Disliked, and then the games personality system takes over. No one actually Hates the movie channels, so I added that into some of the traits. Kids movies are tied to age, like the rest of the TV Channels. Other personality categories with less than 6 points will dislike the movie that is playing, and are more likely to leave. Grumpy sims (less than 6 nice points) like/love Spooky movies, Outgoing sims will like/love Drama Movies Playful sims will like/ love Comedy Movies If a sim has 7 points or more in any personality they will like or love different stations Looking into the Movie chanel files, the like value for 4 categories is determined by personality. Using what I learned from the What’s Good on TV Expanded mod, I added Trait Like value for the Freetime Movie channels. This is a mod in 3 parts Part 2: Movie Channels, Likeness by Trait. Read after the cut for what each trait likes/dislikes or just check out the last section on the documentation: Green/Red Yellow/Blue It doesn’t necessarily dictate what they watch.ĭownload Here (SFS) Requires Freetime because it adds hobby enthusiasm.Īlso Required: 7 tv channels (broadcast.ini and folders) by Sim of Manu on MTS Remember this only affects how long a sim will stay and watch before leaving the room or turning off the tv/change the channel. package files to have traits affect how much the sims love the channel. package files into a section of your downloads folder instead of the original 7 channels. Step 2: install broadcast.ini and the folders according to instructions Step 1: on the original post download the mod with or without movie files (your preference) ![]() The mod is pretty great on its own, without traits I mainly started this because I wanted my technophobes to stop watching TV. I will just be providing the mod though, the folder structure and broadcast file you’ll have to get from the Mod the Sims page. The rest of the mod is there too untouched. I have edited the like value logic of this mod to check for traits. This is an edit of the original 7 hobby channels by Sim of Manu with added trait checks. The final part of my tv-based trait mods. Merry Christmas everyone, here is a gift for you. I did get a real life full time job this last fall, so I’m not as chronically on tumblr or the sim-ternet as I once was but still tag me in the trait posts you find so I can keep the tracker updated. I’m hoping by posting this list it will give someone a creative idea to use these under-used traits in new or updated mods. I’ve noticed a few new trait modders ( including myself) start releasing traits this year. There are quite a few traits that have 5 mods or less. ![]()
